Game UP! Academy – Giveaway Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Game UP! Academy Giveaway (“Giveaway”) operated by Gameupacademy OÜ (registry code 17192216, Estonia) (“Game UP! Academy”, “we”, “us”). By submitting an entry you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • Open to natural persons aged 16+. Entrants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent.

  • Employees, contractors, and agents of Gameupacademy OÜ, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.

  • The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

2. Entry Period

The Giveaway runs from 17:00 (EET) 18 October 2025 until 23:59 (EET) 19 October 2025 (the “Entry Period”). Entries received outside this period are ineligible.

3. How to Enter

  • Complete the official signup form made available at MängudeÖÖ 2025 and/or via Game UP! Academy’s official channels during the Entry Period.

  • Provide a valid email address and (optionally) indicate a preferred course.

  • One entry per person. Multiple, automated or bulk entries may be disqualified at our discretion.

  • No purchase necessary to enter or win.

4. Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a free pass covering the full tuition fee for one Game UP! Academy course of their choice (the “Prize”).

  • The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash or other consideration.

  • Ancillary costs (e.g., hardware, software, travel, accommodation, or third-party licenses) are not included unless expressly stated on the relevant course page.

  • Prize redemption is subject to course availability, published prerequisites, and Game UP! Academy’s standard Terms and Conditions.

5. Discount Code for Participants

All valid entrants will receive a -15% discount code for any Game UP! Academy course purchased by 31 December 2025.

  • The code applies to regular-priced courses, cannot be combined with other promotions, and is non-transferable.

  • One code per entrant; misuse may result in cancellation.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the Entry Period.

  • We will notify the winner by email no later than 31 October 2025.

  • If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, or is found ineligible, we may select an alternative winner at our discretion.

  • We may request reasonable verification of eligibility/identity before awarding the Prize.

7. Publicity

With the winner’s consent, we may announce first name/initial and city/country on our channels. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

8. Data Protection

We process entrants’ personal data (e.g., email, course interest) for the purposes of administering the Giveaway, sending discount codes, contacting the winner, and—where consent is given—sending marketing communications.
Processing is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disqualification

We may disqualify entries that are incomplete, false, created by bots/automation, or otherwise in breach of these Terms or applicable law; we may also disqualify entries arising from abusive or disruptive conduct.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Game UP! Academy is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, corrupted or incomplete entries, or for technical failures beyond our control. Participation is at the entrant’s own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Taxes

Any personal tax obligations associated with accepting the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.

12. Changes & Cancellation

We may modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway (including substituting a prize of equal or greater value) if events occur that make it necessary to do so (e.g., fraud, technical issues, force majeure). Any changes will be posted on our website.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Estonian courts.
